Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Group company, is hiring Patient Dining Associates at Owensboro Health in Owensboro, KY. Full-time and part-time shifts are available, 11:00 am to 7:30 pm, with flexible days.

You will assist patients with menu selections, deliver meals, and work with the care team to meet nutritional needs while following safety standards. Prior customer service experience is preferred and training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and interpret documents in English.
• Basic computer and mathematical skills.
• Must be able to occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds, as well as maneuver and push food delivery carts.

Responsibilities

• Help patients understand their menu selections and ensure orders meet nutritional requirements.
• Determine menu alternatives for allergies, preferences, and cultural needs.
• Assemble meals according to patient selections and retrieve trays on schedule.
• Comply with HIPAA policies and facility confidentiality.
• Follow HACCP guidelines and maintain hygiene standards.
• Assist dietitians in monitoring patients on special diets.
