Memorial Healthcare System is seeking a Dietary Aide to assist patients with menu selections and ensure meals align with physician-ordered diets. The role supports timely meal delivery, patient and guest satisfaction, and collaboration with nursing units to enhance the overall experience.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and at least one year of customer service experience, with focus on accuracy, sanitation, and quality in a hospital setting.

• Complexity of work requires critical thinking, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

• Assist patients with menu selections that meet dietary requirements and restrictions.
• Ensure meals are prepared and delivered within stated time expectations.
• Support patient/guest satisfaction initiatives and resolve service issues as appropriate.
• Assemble patient meal trays according to approved menus and dietary restrictions.
• Collaborate with nursing units to enhance patient experience.
• Answer and manage calls regarding patient and guest meal orders.
• Maintain and document food preferences, diet orders and allergies.
