Qualifications

• Two years of related customer experience, preferably in healthcare.
• Experience scheduling or pre-registering patients is preferred.
• Ability to interact successfully with the public and manage deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Register patients and handle first call resolutions for assigned departments.
• Enter demographic, financial and medical information accurately into the EHR.
• Verify insurance, pre-register procedures and assist with referrals as needed.
• Answer inbound/outbound calls and direct callers efficiently.
• Maintain patient flow and assist patients to their destination per policy.
