Job summary

Premier Orthopaedics in partnership with Philadelphia Hand to Shoulder is seeking a Patient Service Representative for Paoli, Exton and Collegeville, PA offices. The role emphasizes friendly patient check-in/out, insurance verification, scheduling, and payment collection.

The position requires 1–2 years in patient registration, familiarity with EMR systems (Allscripts Pro Suite), and strong communication. A comprehensive benefits package and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent working knowledge preferred.
  • 1–2 years patient registration or front office experience in medical/healthcare setting preferred.
  • Experience with insurance rules, medical terminology, and EMR systems preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and acknowledge patients; inform staff of arrivals.
  • Answer calls; provide information or direct inquiries.
  • Prepare and review medical history and forms; correct account details.
  • Collect demographics, insurance info, and required authorizations.
  • Identify and collect co-pays and outstanding balances; set up payment plans.
