Job summary

Premier Orthopaedics in West Chester, PA, is seeking a Patient Service Representative to join our on-site, full-time team. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1–2 years of patient registration/front office experience in healthcare preferred.
• Experience with insurance rules, EMR systems, and medical terminology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and notify staff of arrivals.
• Answer calls and relay messages as needed.
• Assist patients with completing medical histories and forms.
• Collect demographic/insurance information and authorizations.
• Collect co-pays and explain financial responsibilities.
• Verify insurance and notify for coverage issues.
• Schedule follow-ups and coordinate referrals.
• Scan documents and maintain EMR accuracy.
• Prepare charts for the next day per schedule.
• Maintain secure cash drawer and daily balance.
