Job summary

Gurwin Healthcare System is seeking a per diem Receptionist for the main lobby. The role supports front-desk operations, directing visitors, handling calls, and coordinating with staff across Gurwin’s campuses.

Availability on Thursdays and Fridays from 8:30am to 5:00pm and other shifts is required as needed. Ideal candidates will have a High School diploma (or equivalent) and strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate the switchboard to relay information and direct calls.
• Monitor fire alarms and respond per policy.
• Monitor alarm systems and respond as required.
• Provide outstanding customer service to visitors and residents.
• Assist in directing visitors to appropriate locations.
• Record outgoing calls and routing information per procedure.
• Communicate effectively in routine and emergency situations.
• Assist in resident transport when needed.
• Maintain lobby cleanliness and order.
