Job summary

Bennett & Bloom Eye Centers is seeking a Medical Receptionist / Patient Coordinator for a hiring event on September 16, 2026 in Louisville, KY. The role supports patient intake, insurance verification, appointment coordination, and front-desk operations in a busy eye care setting.

Full-time availability within the office hours (7am-7pm local) is required, with potential shifts adjusted to cover multiple locations. Strong customer service and basic computer skills are essential to succeed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• One-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Favorable result on background check.
• Must be able to provide proof of identity and right to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service during every patient encounter (in person or via phone).
• Answer phones (both external and internal); assure prompt, courteous service at all times.
• Practice urgency at all times with patients' time, as well as Doctor's time and schedule.
• Manage patient flow in the office.
• Knowledge of common fees charged for common visits and collect correct payments.
• Complete daily reconciliations / close day / countdown cash drawer.
• General office duties and cleaning to be assigned by manager.
