Job summary

Avenue 360 is seeking a Front Desk Specialist to welcome patients, collect information, and support the healthcare team in a fast-paced Houston clinic.

You will manage check-ins, scheduling, insurance verification, forms, and basic office tasks with a focus on accuracy, privacy, and outstanding customer service. Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred to assist patients, with cross-clinic coverage as needed and ongoing training in privacy and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in healthcare, customer service, or administrative setting.
• Experience with patients in a fast-paced environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and greet patients; manage check‑ins and check‑outs.
• Schedule, confirm, and adjust appointments; manage reminders.
• Handle phone calls, messages, and document communications.
• Verify insurance coverage and patient eligibility.
• Maintain organized front‑desk area and basic supply tracking.
• Cross-coverage for other clinics as needed.
