Job summary

SynergenX Health Holdings LLC in Chattanooga is seeking a Patient Services Coordinator to be the friendly first face for patients, coordinating appointments and assisting with day-to-day clinic operations in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

You’ll receive paid training, a competitive benefits package, and opportunities for growth, with a schedule including weekday hours and Saturday rotations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Associate degree preferred
• Previous healthcare or front-office experience preferred
• Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and professionalism
• Successful completion of a criminal background check

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients with a warm, friendly, and positive attitude
• Check patients in and room them for their appointments
• Coordinate appointments and help keep the clinic running efficiently
• Answer incoming calls promptly and professionally
• Respond to patient emails, text messages, and faxes and ensure timely follow-up
• Answer patient billing and insurance questions and help resolve concerns
• Explain insurance coverage, benefits, and out-of-pocket costs clearly
• Enter and update patient and insurance information accurately
• Collect and process payments when needed
• Maintain a clean, organized front desk and waiting area
• Attend monthly, quarterly, and annual meetings as needed
• Follow HIPAA requirements and clinic policies
