Job summary

OnePeak Medical in Medford, OR is seeking a Patient Care Coordinator to be the first point of contact for patients and visitors, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere and accurate charting. You will handle scheduling, data updates, payments, and HIPAA-compliant coordination with clinics.

The role emphasizes customer service, teamwork, and attention to detail in a fast-paced medical setting, with opportunities to support multiple clinics as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 6 months of customer service experience required.
• 6 months of front desk reception or scheduling in a medical office preferred.
• PM/EHR experience strongly preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of medical billing and insurance payors preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service and a warm welcome to patients and visitors.
• Ensure PCP is accurately listed in patient charts.
• Manage a multi-line phone system and schedule appointments.
• Register patients and update demographics, insurance, and patient portal data.
• Verify payment method and collect copays or balances as needed.
• Maintain reception area and office files.
• Address patient complaints and escalate when needed.
• Attend department and clinical meetings as scheduled.
