Job summary

New York Cancer and Blood Specialists (NYCBS) is seeking a Patient Communications Operator in Jackson Heights, NY. The role involves answering a high-volume of calls, data entry, and upholding HIPAA privacy standards.

You will join a patient-centered team that supports diverse communities and provides compassionate care. This full-time position requires excellent communication skills, at least 1 year in medical call center work, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• At least 1 years’ experience as a call center operator preferably in the medical field.
• Excellent computer and customer service skills.
• High school diploma required.
• Bilingual English/Spanish (a plus)
• Strong customer service skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Answer telephones at a high volume; respond to inquiries; resolve issues.
• Enters data into the computer.
• Protect patient privacy by adhering to the HIPAA confidentiality guidelines.
