Tri-County Community Action Agency in Johnston, RI is seeking a Medical Assistant to join the patient care team. Full-time position supporting Providers, welcoming patients, recording vitals, and documenting in the electronic medical record.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED and completion of a formal Medical Assistant program (12 months), strong computer skills and CPR certification; bilingual a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and completion of a formal Medical Assistant training program (≥12 months) required.
• Strong computer skills.
• CPR certification.

Responsabilités

• Welcome patients in the waiting room and escort to exam room.
• Record vital signs (BP, height, weight, pulse, temperature) and document results in EMR.
• Obtain and record patient information in the EMR for Providers.
