Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, BLS, and MA training or 3 years of experience; certification preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Medical Assistant certification preferred.
• Experience: Graduate of formal Medical Assistant training program or minimum of three years MA experience.

Responsabilités

• Perform pre-visit planning by reviewing/updating patient records.
• Document vital signs, chief complaints, histories, and meds in EMR.
• Assist providers with examinations and procedures using aseptic technique.
• Administer vaccines and perform point-of-care tests per policy.
• Manage patient flow and test scheduling; coordinate referrals.
