Job summary

Blanchard Valley Health System seeks a Medical Assistant to support physicians with patient care, exam room preparation, phlebotomy, injections, and clerical duties in a Findlay, OH clinic.

The role emphasizes patient-centered care, privacy compliance, and the ability to cross-train across BVMP practices. A valid MA certification or diploma and EMR familiarity are preferred, with strong communication skills preferred.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or GED equivalent.
• Positive service-oriented interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to cross-train to other BVMP Practices as needed.
• Adhere to BVHS privacy policies and procedures.
• Demonstrate knowledge of growth and development to provide age-appropriate care.

Responsibilities

• Manages daily patient and provider flow.
• Assist Physician with patient care as required.
• Ensure exam rooms are prepared for each visit.
• Follow directions from provider and leadership.
• Conduct phlebotomy and point of care testing as needed.
• Accurately complete the registration process.
• Chart documentation.
• Utilize clinical and clerical skills effectively.
• Enhance patient experience and uphold Mission/Vision/Values.
• Willingness to participate in process improvement.
• Other duties as assigned.
