Qualifications

• High School graduate or GED equivalent.
• Positive service-oriented interpersonal and communication skills.
• This position may require cross-training to other BVMP practices.
• Behavior must adhere to BVHS policies regarding workplace civility and privacy.
• Knowledge of age-specific patient care principles and privacy policies.

Responsibilities

• Manages daily patient and provider flow.
• Assist Physician with patient care as required.
• Ensure that exam rooms are prepared for each visit and set up clinical areas.
• Able to follow directions given by the provider and leadership.
• Conducts phlebotomy and point of care testing, based on practice needs.
• Accurately complete the registration process.
• Chart documentation.
• Use clinical and clerical skills to support the practice.
• Contribute to improving patient experience and align with mission/values.
• Willingness to participate in process improvement.
• Other duties as assigned.
