Job summary

Legacy Health in Washington is seeking a compassionate Medical Assistant to support a primary care or specialty clinic. You will assist with patient care under physicians, prepare visits, and perform tasks such as phlebotomy and vaccine administration.

Join a collaborative care team and participate in patient-centered workflows, using EHR systems and ensuring timely scheduling and follow-up.

Qualifications

• One year experience as a clinic back office medical assistant preferred.
• Education: Completion of a medical assistant program or equivalent experience; or completion of a formal medical services training program of the United States Armed Forces; or Oregon EMT program (Oregon only)
• Licensure: MA certification within one year from AAMA/AMT/NCCT/NHA; WA MA certification for work in WA; BLS for Providers.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient care under the direction of physicians.
• Prepare patients for office visits and procedures.
• Perform vaccine/medication administration, phlebotomy, and point of care testing.

Education

Medical Assistant program or equivalent experience; or Completion of a formal medical services training program of the United States Armed Forces; or Oregon EMT program (Oregon only)

Washington MA certification/EMT license readiness; BLS for Providers
