Job summary

Legacy Health is seeking a compassionate Medical Assistant to support primary care and specialty clinics in Washington. You will assist physicians, prepare patients for visits, administer vaccines, perform phlebotomy, and support care coordination using the EHR system.

The role requires MA certification within one year, WA certification if working in Washington, and BLS for Providers. A year of clinic back-office experience is preferred and the organization emphasizes collaboration and

Qualifications

• 1 year of clinic back-office medical assistant experience preferred.
• Completion of a medical assistant program or equivalent experience or military medical training.
• MA certification within one year from AAMA/AMT/NCCT/NHA or equivalent.
• Washington MA certification required for WA work.
• Current BLS for Providers from AHA.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient care under physician supervision.
• Prepare patients for visits and procedures.
• Administer vaccines/medications, perform phlebotomy and point-of-care testing.
• Provide indirect patient care via phone or EHR, manage medication refills and schedule follow-ups.
• Utilize EHR for efficient care coordination.
