Job summary

Legacy Health in Washington (Camas) is seeking a compassionate Medical Assistant to support clinic teams in a primary care or specialty setting. You will prepare patients for visits, assist physicians, and perform tasks such as vaccine administration, venipuncture, and point-of-care testing while using the EHR to coordinate care.

Qualifications

• One year experience as a clinic back office medical assistant preferred.
• Completion of a medical assistant program or equivalent experience.
• MA certification within one year may be required from AAMA/AMT/NCCT/NHA; WA state MA certification required for work in Washington.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient care under the direction of physicians.
• Prepare patients for office visits and procedures.
• Perform vaccines, phlebotomy, and point-of-care testing.
• Provide indirect patient care via phone or EHR by addressing questions and scheduling follow-ups.
• Utilize EHR for efficient care.
