Job summary

The role requires assessing physiologic and psychosocial health, planning and evaluating care, and educating patients and families. Strong documentation and teamwork are essential for safe, quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Performs age-specific nursing care using the nursing process.

Responsibilities

• Assesses physiological health status through interview and chart review.
• Assesses GI, CV, respiratory, renal, and neuro health.
• Identifies pain level and manages pain relief.
• Documents health status and care plan clearly.
• Assesses psychosocial health and coping mechanisms.
• Identifies patient outcomes and sets goals.
• Plans care priorities and coordinates resources.
• Implements care with safety and timely interventions.
• Administers medications correctly and safely.
• Educates patient and family, including discharge planning.
• Collaborates with care team and supports colleagues.
