The role requires current phlebotomy certification (NPS, NCCT, NHA, NPA) and includes specimen collection, labeling, coordination with physicians’ offices, supply management, and ensuring a clean, safe lab environment across assigned locations.

Qualifications

• Current Phlebotomy Certification Required - NPS, NCCT, NHA, NPA

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collection with proper patient identification.
• Order and stock supplies; discard expired items.
• Review NextGen (EHR) requisitions for codes and documentation.
• Draw specimens with correct labeling and handling.
• Maintain a clean and safe phlebotomy area with proper biohazard disposal.
• Assist in the main lab when needed and help patients as required.
• Instruct patients on proper specimen collection techniques.
