Job summary

The position emphasizes patient safety, accurate documentation in the EHR, and adherence to PHI usage policies. Experience with vital signs, phlebotomy, immunizations, and routine procedures is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• MA Certificate/Certification (or CNA/EMT or Phlebotomy) preferred.
• 0-1 years related experience requested.
• Demonstrated MA competencies within one year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Build empathetic relationships with patients and families to support care goals.
• Assist during visits: manage flow, update meds/allergies, screen questions, and liaise with staff.
• Communicate hand-offs clearly to providers and care team.
• Perform MA duties under supervision: vitals, EKGs, POC testing, phlebotomy, immunizations.
• Lead population health outreach and health coaching; monitor activity and gather data.
