Job summary

Community Medical Centers (CMC) in Lodi, CA is hiring a Medical Assistant. The MA works with the care team to perform intake assessments, vital signs, medication reconciliation and rooming prior to provider visits.

Qualifications

• Accredited medical assistant training program completed.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to provide sensitive and respectful care to diverse populations.
• Current BLS certificate or ability to obtain BLS before date of hire.
• Must pass CMC orientation competency tests.

Responsibilities

• Promotes the mission, vision, and values of the organization.
• Conducts intake assessments and vital signs, medication reconciliation and testing.
• Sets up Telehealth appointments and conducts intake via phone/video.
• Maintains efficient patient flow and supports clinical staff during visits.
• Performs laboratory duties, injections and specimen collection as directed.
• Documents in the EHR and coordinates referrals and follow-ups.
