Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Certification/registration CMA or RMA required or obtainable within 1 year.
• Minimum one year of recent medical assisting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administers medications per Provider orders using oral, parenteral, and topical routes.
• Performs vital signs and immunization screening per age group guidelines.
• Maintains clean, safe patient areas and follows infection control rules.
• Documents immunizations, vitals, and medications in the EMR.
• May interpret between patient and provider when needed.
