Job summary

WellSpan Health seeks a dedicated Medical Assistant to provide safe, efficient patient care in a team-based setting. You will collect vitals, assist with procedures, and document in the EHR under supervision, supporting care across multiple departments.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, with preference for an Associate’s or Diploma in Medical Assisting and CPR/BLS as applicable. Day-to-day duties include patient education and coordinating follow-up care within our WellSpan Medical

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year Medical Assistant experience required.
• CPR/BLS certification as applicable or required.

Responsibilities

• Obtains and documents reason for visit and vital signs.
• Collects specimens and handles them per protocol.
• Prepares patients for procedures and ensures safety measures.
• Administers vaccines, medications, and controls as directed by provider.
• Documents prescriptions and completes charting in EHR.
