Qualifications

• Ability to assess and determine situations requiring an interpreter and to use interpreter services effectively
• Excellent customer service skills

Responsibilities

• Provides reception, clerical, medical records, and patient registration on the unit.
• Sets priorities and handles emergencies calmly.
• Serves as liaison between patient care units and other departments.
• Manages overall unit workflow with the charge RN and/or assistant manager.
• Communicates professionally with patients, families, and staff.
• Maintains orderly record assembly and proper documentation.
