Northwestern Medicine Central DuPage Hospital is seeking a Health Unit Coordinator to serve as a liaison between patient care units and related departments. You will manage unit workflow, handle clerical tasks, and assist with patient registration and medical records under the supervision of the charge RN and manager.

The role emphasizes friendly patient interaction, accurate information delivery, and coordinated teamwork.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbal and in writing.
• Ability to assess and determine situations requiring an interpreter and to use interpreter services effectively
• Excellent customer service skills

Responsibilities
