Centerpoint Medical Center in Independence, MO is hiring a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to support our nursing team and help ensure compassionate, safe patient care. The role focuses on assisting with daily activities, vital signs, mobility, and collaboration with RNs to carry out care plans.

Qualifications

• BCLS or CNA certification required within 30 days of start date.
• Education in lieu of credential accepted.
• Certificate must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.

Responsabilités

• Assisting with patient preparation, mobility, transfers and comfort to support smooth care and recovery.
• Providing non-medicated care such as dressing changes, skin protection, and use of supportive devices.
• Keeping patient areas and common spaces clean, organized, and stocked to maintain safety and efficiency.
• Managing supplies, equipment, and logs to support infection control and team readiness.
• Communicating kindly with patients, families, and the care team to support safety and quality.
