About Perioperative Services:
Our Perioperative Services team performs over 15,000 surgical cases annually across more than 30 operating rooms in the Main Building and Mays Clinic. Partnering with Anesthesiology, Critical Care, Nursing, and Surgery divisions, our goal is to create the safest and highest-quality perioperative environment in the world.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including hygiene, mobility, and feeding
  • Assist with admission and discharge processes
  • Accurately measure and record vital signs, blood glucose levels, and weight
  • Ensure a clean, safe, and organized environment for patients
  • Retrieve and update patient information in the electronic medical record system
  • Collaborate effectively with the multidisciplinary care team

Ideal Candidate:
  • Experience as a Patient Care Technician (PCT) or Nursing Assistant
  • Comfortable with direct patient care in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail


Education
High school diploma or equivalent.

Must pass pre-employment skills test as required and administered by Human Resources.
