Job summary

Mercy is seeking a patient‑focused PCA to assist in individualized care under the supervision of an RN or LPN. You’ll perform designated clinical and support tasks and collaborate with the care team to promote wellness.

Education includes a high school diploma or GED, CNA/CPTC enrollment preferred, and a 175‑hour training program will be provided if needed. BLS is required within one month of hire.

Qualifications

• CNA/CPTC or enrolling in a healthcare program is accepted.
• No prior experience required for the PCA role.
• Basic life support (BLS) within one month of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist in individualized patient care under RN or LPN.
• Perform designated clinical procedures and non-clinical tasks.
• Work as part of a collaborative care team to support patient welfare.
