HonorHealth in Deer Valley, Phoenix, seeks a Night shift CNA or PCT to join the Telemetry Unit-3P2. The 30-bed cardiac Progressive Care unit provides close monitoring for patients recovering from surgery or with cardiac conditions.

The role requires a High School diploma, CNA certification or related experience, and BLS; EMT license is a plus. Weekend rotations and night differential apply; self-scheduling available.

Qualifikationen

• CNA certification or related nursing/medical assistant training (Block 1 in Nursing/MA/NA/EMT/BHT) considered.
• BLS certification required; CNA certification preferred; EMT license preferred.

The Telemetry floor provides a solid cardiac foundation and is a 30-bed Cardiac Progressive Care Unit caring for patients who require close monitoring and frequent assessment. Typical patients may include those recovering from surgery, patients with stable cardiac conditions, respiratory illnesses requiring non-invasive ventilation, or patients transitioning from the ICU who still require significant medical oversight. Patients often require specialized nursing care, advanced monitoring, and complex medication regimens to support recovery and prevent complications. We are looking for CNA certification or previous PCT experience.

This position is a full-time Night shift working 3-12 hour shifts from 6:00 PM-6:30 AM.

We offer self-scheduling for shift and weekend coverage. Scheduled workdays may vary, as there are no set or fixed days. Weekend and Holiday Rotations are required. Weekend shift differentials are offered, along with evening and night shift differentials where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient related care tasks based on the principles of growth and development across the life span of patients served in his/her independent unit. Assists, observes, and reports patient changes to licensed caregiver and maintains accurate medical record documentation relative to the care delivered.
• Provides and collaborates direct patient care services under the direct supervisor of a licensed caregiver. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to personal care, activities of daily living, vital signs, intake and output, ambulation, interventions, and implementation of selected portions of the patient care plan as directed under supervisor of nurse.
• Assists, observes and reports changes in patient condition to licensed caregiver and maintains accurate medical record documentation in relation to the care delivered.
• Addresses and/or directs questions or concerns from patients, families, caregivers, or health care team members.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Education

• High School Diploma or GED Required

Experience

• Other Completion of Block 1 in Nursing OR Medical Assistant (MA) OR Nursing Assistant (NA) OR Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) OR Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) OR 6 months of experience in the healthcare setting within the last year Required
• 6 months in acute care experience. Preferred

License and Certifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS) - Certification Required
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Certification Preferred
• Emergency Medical Technician - Basic (EMT) - License Emergency Medical Tech Preferred
