The Neuro Unit is a 28bed, all-private room inpatient unit that provides care for a higheracuity medical population with a primary focus on neurological conditions. Staffing structure and ratios are similar to the orthopedic unit, while patient acuity and clinical complexity are more advanced.
The unit primarily serves medical neuro patients, including individuals with acute stroke, a wide range of neurological diagnoses, behavioral or confused presentations, and patients experiencing alcohol withdrawal (ETOH). The majority of admissions arrive through the Emergency Department, creating a fastpaced environment with frequent new admissions and evolving care needs.

We offer self-scheduling for shift and weekend coverage. Scheduled workdays may vary, as there are no set or fixed days. Weekend and Holiday Rotations are required in this role. Weekend shift differentials are offered, along with evening and night shift differentials where applicable.
