Job summary

Geisinger is seeking a Patient Care Technician. Eligible candidates can receive a $1,500 sign-on bonus and a minimum hiring rate of $18.94 per hour, with higher rates for experienced staff and up to $3 shift differentials for evenings, nights, and weekends.

The position also offers up to $40,000 in financial aid to pursue nursing education. As a patient care technician, you will work under RN supervision to support ADLs, vital signs, POC testing, and care coordination in a clinical setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide enhanced patient care under RN supervision, including dressing and vital signs.

• Assist with ADLs: hygiene, mobility, meals and linens.
• Coordinate patient transport and discharge-related tasks.
• Support unit operations, documentation, and equipment checks.
