Job summary

Tenet Healthcare is seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to provide direct nursing support under the supervision of an RN or LPN. You will prepare rooms, respond to patient needs, and perform rounds to ensure comfort and safety in a caring, culturally competent manner.

Responsibilities include vital signs, ADLs, and accurate reporting of patient changes. CPR certification and prior hospital experience are preferred to thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; PCT/CNA training or equivalent.
• CPR certification required.
• Experience in a hospital environment preferred.
• Strong communication and compassionate patient care are essential.

Responsibilities

• Measure and record vital signs.
• Assist with activities of daily living including hygiene, mobility and feeding.
• Prepare hospital room for new admission and respond to patient requests.
• Provide patient rounds and emotional support; maintain a respectful, culturally competent environment.
• Report changes in patient condition to RN/LPN promptly.
