Qualifications include a High School Diploma or Equivalent; CNA/NCMA/NCPCT or equivalent certification is preferred. BLS within 90 days of hire and healthcare experience are valued. The base pay range is $18.93–$27.41 per hour, with benefits and shift differentials offered.

• Provide patient care and assist with activities of daily living.

This is a Full Time, Night Shift (12-hour shift) position.Hours: 7:00pm to 7:00am - Three 12-hour shifts (36 hours per week), with rotating weekends.Department Overview: Medicine Unit 4 - Progressive Ventilator Support Unit (PVSU) is an eight-bed step-down unit, specializing in treatment of patients on mechanical ventilators. Most patients admitted to PVSU come from an Intensive Care Unit (ICU). PVSU focuses on maximizing the rehabilitation while continuing to treat the cause of the illness. This goal is accomplished through intensive physical therapy, respiratory care and mental stimulation.The Patient Care Technician provides patient care, supports independent and dependent activities of daily living, vital signs, mobility and ambulation, phlebotomy, point of care testing, EKG testing, peripheral IV removal, specimen collection, and foley catheter insertion and removal, and complies with patient safety practices under the direction of the professional RN nurse.
