Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital San Antonio Inc. in Fort Myers, FL is hiring a Patient Care Technician to join a night shift team. The role supports patient bathing, mobility, and daily care within a 12‑hour shift schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED or relevant work experience (3+ years).
• BLS is required within 90 days of hire.
• Hospital experience as a nursing assistant, certification as a nursing assistant or experience in a related field (i.e. medical assistant).

Responsibilities

• Bathing patients using basin-less products and assisting with oral hygiene and feeding.
• Participate in hourly rounds.
• Transport patients to treatment centers and assist transporters with stretchers and wheelchairs.
• Maintain cleanliness of instruments and equipment (bedpans, urinals, wheelchairs).
• Keep patient rooms clean and orderly.
• Maintain unit stock levels of supplies and equipment as directed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Compensation: $17.50 - $21.33 per hour + shift differential for nights & weekends
