Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate from an accredited Certified Nursing Program (CNA).
• Preferred: 1 year experience in a health care setting.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English (oral and written).
• CNA Certification (CA DPH).
• BLS Healthcare Provider certification.
• Fire Life Safety Training (LA City) with renewal within 30 days if not current.

Responsibilities

• Responds to patient calls within 10 minutes and assists with care as directed.
• Performs essential care tasks and maintains patient safety and comfort.
• Maintains clean, organized patient rooms and supports equipment setup and maintenance.
• Documents care provided, vital signs, intake/output, and use of equipment.
• Communicates plan of care and collaborates with RN/Charge Nurse.
