Job summary

Reporting to the Nurse Manager, you will document vital signs and routine data, follow the patient care plan, and collaborate with nurses and the care team to deliver compassionate, high-quality service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CNA Certification or current enrollment in an accredited nursing program.
• Successful completion of the Patient Care Technician orientation.
• Ability to transfer and position patients up to 35 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic daily patient care and support of significant others.
• Assist with hygiene, daily living activities, and mobility.
• Record vital signs, intake/output, and other routine data.
• Follow patient care plan and report changes to the nurse.
• Maintain clean, safe patient care areas and assist with equipment.
