Job summary

Qualifications

• Education: None
• Licenses/Certifications: BLS issued by the American Heart Association within 90 days of employment
• Experience / Knowledge / Skills: 1 year of prior patient care experience in an acute care setting or similar role

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care under the supervision of a licensed nurse
• Performs vital signs and monitors the patient’s condition
• Maintains a safe, clean environment and documents information accurately
• Reports unusual changes or findings to the nurse
• Assists with activities of daily living and mobility as needed
