Job summary

Memorial Hermann Health System in Texas is hiring a Patient Care Technician II for the Woodlands Hospital. This full-time day shift (7:00 am – 7:00 pm) role provides direct patient care under the supervision of a licensed nurse, supports ADLs, and ensures accurate documentation and safe patient environments.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of acute care patient care experience, is capable of responding to changes in a patient’s condition, and holds BLS certification or is within 90 days

Qualifications

• One (1) year of prior patient care experience (e.g. CNA, EMT, or PCT) or similar role required, preferably in an acute care setting.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care for assigned patients under the direct supervision of a licensed nurse.
• Vital signs monitoring, hygiene support, toileting support, mobility assistance, and activities of daily living as needed.
• Accurate and timely documentation; report unusual changes to the nurse.
• Maintain safe and clean working environment; adhere to policies and safety standards.
