Job summary

Texas Health Resources at Texas Health Dallas seeks a Patient Care Tech (PCT) in Intermediate Care for full-time night shifts. You will provide basic patient care under nursing supervision, including feeding, bathing, and mobility, and may assist with transfers and linens.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, PCT experience preferred, and BCLS. Training programs and CPI within 90 days are required upon hire; teamwork and compassionate care are emphasized.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• PCT experience in an acute environment preferred.
• Certification training upon hire as listed (NHA/NAHP/NCCT or THR approved).
• BCLS required prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly.
• CPI training within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic patient care under nursing supervision, including feeding, bathing, dressing, grooming, or movement.
• Assist in transfer or transport of patients and changes in linens.
• Enter orders and document accurately; support care plan and safety.
• Collaborate with nurses to adapt care to patient population and cultural needs.
