Job summary

Beverly Hospital, part of Beth Israel Lahey Health, is seeking a Patient Care Technician to assist with basic patient care under RN supervision. The role focuses on comfort, safety, and personal needs of patients, with night shifts and rotating weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities include vital signs, specimens, feeding assistance, and reporting observations. Requires HS diploma; BLS within 90 days is needed; CNA preferred but not required. Vaccination for influenza is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• CNA Certification is preferred but not required upon hire.
• Basic computer skills are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Take vital signs, height and weight, and oxygen saturation.
• Report unusual observations to the nurse.
• Collect specimens for analysis and record intake/output.
• Provide personal care and assist with daily activities.
• Perform basic clinical procedures under RN supervision.
• Assist with nutrition and meal service.

Education
