Job summary

Beverly Hospital, part of Beth Israel Lahey Health, is hiring a Patient Care Technician for the evening shift. Under RN supervision, you will provide basic patient care and assist with daily activities, vital signs, feeding, and documentation.

The role requires a high school diploma, basic math/reading skills, and BLS within 90 days. CNA preferred but not mandatory; 32 hours per week with every other weekend and holiday commitment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to read/write and perform basic math.
• Desire to help people and/or aspire to healthcare.
• Basic computer skills preferred.
• BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Take vital signs including height and weight and oxygen saturation.
• Report unusual observations to the nurse.
• Collect specimens for analysis and record intake/output.
• Provide personal care and assist with daily activities.
• Assist with meals, room service setup and feeding.
