Job summary

Avera Dells Area Health Hospital is seeking a Regular Full-time CNA to provide routine patient care in a 12-hour night shift schedule (6p–6:30a) with every 3rd weekend/holiday. You will assist with ambulation, bathing, feeding, and care coordination under nurse/physician direction.

Qualifications include a CNA license and a high school diploma or GED. Experience with EHR systems is a plus; the role involves strong teamwork and adherence to safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine patient care including ambulating, bathing, feeding and monitoring patient needs.
• Greet visitors, answer inquiries, relay messages and assist with gifts, flowers and mail for patients.
• Ambulate patients, assist with wheelchairs, measure intake/output and collect specimens as needed.
• Coordinate outpatient appointments with departments and prepare related charts and forms.
• Maintain patient rooms and handle routine cleaning and restocking of supplies.
