Job summary

Avera Dells Area Health Hospital is seeking a dedicated individual to provide routine patient care and support under nurse or physician direction. You will assist with ambulation, bathing, feeding, and other care tasks while ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Responsibilities include greeting patients, answering inquiries, coordinating appointments, and performing clerical duties related to admissions and discharges. CNA preferred; high school diploma required; 16+ age minimum.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform essential job functions with attention to safety and patient care.
• Good communication with patients, families, and healthcare team.
• Ability to work rotating shifts and respond to patient needs promptly.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine patient care: ambulating, bathing, positioning, feeding and meal support.
• Greet and assist patients and visitors, answer inquiries and relay messages.
• Ambulate patients, assist in and out of wheelchairs, and collect specimens as directed.
