Job summary

Avera Creighton Hospital is seeking a Regular worker (CNA) to provide routine patient care in a rotating schedule including day, evening, weekend and holiday shifts. Responsibilities include ambulating patients, assisting with meals, and ensuring safety and comfort under nurse supervision.

Qualifications include a High School diploma or GED and CNA certification; strong communication and teamwork are essential. PTO from day 1 and other benefits accompany this role.

Qualifications

• Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) preferred/licensed.
• Ability to communicate effectively and work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Provides safe, direct patient care: ambulating, bathing, positioning, feeding, and other needs.
• Greets patients and assists with inquiries, messages, and errands for department staff.
• Assists with transfers, meal tracking, and basic clerical duties as directed.
• Responds to patient call lights and emergencies; maintains patient dignity and privacy.
