White Oak Medical Center, part of Adventist HealthCare, is hiring an experienced Patient Care Technician for Med Surg. The role supports licensed nurses and patients during 36 hours per week with 7pm-7am shifts, full‑time employment.

The ideal candidate has a Maryland CNA license or is in an accredited CNA program, BLS, strong English, and good computer skills. You will help ensure safety, perform vitals and ADLs, and participate in ongoing education and professional development.

Formación

• High School Diploma required.
• Successful completion of a CNA or first year Nursing School Program and successful completion of the CNA exam required.
• Maryland CNA License required.
• AHA BLS certification required.
• Effective command of English (spoken and written).
• Physical ability to meet lifting/bending/turning requirements.
• Acute care experience preferred.
• Strong computer skills.

Responsabilidades

• Take vital signs and assist with activities of daily living under RN supervision.
• Duties may vary by area of assignment.
• Respect and address special needs of patient populations.
• Participate in education programs, meetings, and professional initiatives.
• Pursue personal and professional development to adapt to changes.
• Represent nursing and the organization with a positive, professional image.
• Follow care plan as established by RN.
• Receive report from the RN and maintain safety culture.
• Identify and report malfunctioning equipment and ensure safe storage.
• Keep work areas and equipment clean and organized.
