Job summary
Adventist HealthCare's White Oak Medical Center is seeking an experienced Patient Care Technician for Med Surg. You will perform vital signs and activities of daily living under RN supervision, while supporting a culture of safety and quality patient care.
The role emphasizes teamwork, ongoing education, and professional development in a faith-based organization. Qualifications include a CNA program completion with CNA exam and Maryland CNA license, BLS certification, and strong English
Qualifications
- High School Diploma required.
- Successful completion of a CNA or first year Nursing School Program and CNA exam.
- Maryland CNA license required.
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
Responsibilities
- Follow the care plan as established and delegated by the RN.
- Perform vital signs and activities of daily living under RN supervision.
- Participate in department and organizational education programs and committees.
- Identify and report malfunctioning equipment and maintain a safe work area.
