White Oak Medical Center, part of Adventist HealthCare, seeks an experienced Patient Care Technician for the Heart and Vascular Unit. The role supports nurses with vital signs, daily living activities, and patient care under RN supervision.

Requirements include Maryland CNA license, BLS, high school diploma, and strong English skills. The position involves night shifts, weekends on rotation, and a comprehensive benefits package with employee parking and health coverage.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Successful completion of a CNA or first year Nursing School Program and CNA exam required.
• Maryland CNA license required.
• Active American Heart Association BLS certification required.
• Strong command of English (spoken and written).
• Physical ability to lift, bend and turn as needed.
• Experience in acute care preferred.
• Strong computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform vital signs and activities of daily living under RN supervision.
• Follow the care plan established by the RN and receive report from RN.
• Ensure safety and report equipment malfunctions.
• Maintain clean and properly stored work areas and equipment.
• Participate in department education programs and meetings.
• Commit to ongoing personal and professional development.
