Job summary

AllianceHealth Durant is seeking a Patient Care Technician to provide high-quality, patient-centered care under RN/LPN supervision. You will assist with activities of daily living, monitor vitals, support mobility, and help ensure a safe, clean environment.

The role requires 0–2 years in acute care or current nursing study; BCLS within 90 days; CNA or CPCT preferred. Night shifts, full-time, on-site at Durant, OK.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of experience in an acute care setting or currently enrolled in a Nursing program preferred.
• BCLS certification within 90 days of hire.
• CNA or CPCT certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist nursing staff with delegated basic patient care and maintain a safe, organized environment.
• Collect and record patient data including vitals, intake/output, and report findings to RN/LPN/LVN.
• Support patients with meals, bathing, oral care, grooming, linen changes, and mobility aids.
• Assist with patient positioning, ambulation, and use of walkers, crutches, canes, and wheelchairs.
• Collect urine/stool samples and perform finger-stick glucose monitoring and report results.
• Communicate patient information effectively to the care team and maintain professionalism.
• Adhere to infection control and PPE protocols; participate in performance-improvement activities.
• Maintain regular attendance and compliance with policies.
