Job summary

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in an acute care setting or currently enrolled in a nursing program preferred.
• BCLS - Basic Life Support certification within 90 days of hire preferred or required

Responsibilities

• Assists nursing staff in delivering care and maintaining a clean, safe, and organized environment.
• Collects and records patient data including vital signs, height, weight, and intake/output, reporting findings to RN/LPN/LVN.
• Supports patients with meals, personal care, grooming, mobility, and activities of daily living.
• Assists with patient positioning, ambulation, and use of mobility aids.
• Collects samples and performs glucose monitoring, documenting results.
• Communicates patient information effectively to the care team and adheres to safety protocols.
• Participates in performance improvement initiatives and safety/goals.
• Maintains regular attendance and complies with all policies.
